Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival meet and greet at the Airport. The room is booked from the afternoon to ensure immediate Check-in.
New Delhi, the capital of India, sprawled over the west bank of the river Yamuna is one of the fastest growing cities in India. It is surrounded on three sides by Haryana and to the east, across the river Yamuna by Uttar Pradesh. Historically, the city has long since been the foremost in political importance with successive dynasties choosing it as their seat of power, between the 13th and the 17th centuries. Remnants of the glorious past survive as important monuments in different parts of the city.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast at Hotel. full day old delhi & New Delhi sightseeing. Covering Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Chandani Chowk, Rajghat and India Gate, President House, parliament house, Lotus temple, Qutub Minar.
The myriad faces of the city are simply fascinating. In some places it remains a garden city, tree lined and with beautiful parks, but in some places it can also be crowded with heavy traffic. Turbaned Sikhs, colourfully dressed Rajasthani and Gujarati women working in offices, Muslim shopkeepers along Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi, Tibetans and Ladakhis in the street stalls along Janpath and Kashmiris in the handicraft emporia around Connaught Place, all add to the cosmopolitan feel of the city.
Day 03: Delhi - Mandawa
In the morning at hotel, enjoy your breakfast and then proceed on a sightseeing tour the painted havelis of Mandawa. The walls of these unoccupied mansions of business families are decorated with beautiful paintings. On arrival in Mandawa, transfer to the hotel. Mandawa castle one of the finest castles of Rajasthan, is now a hotel and house of collection of armories, costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820 ancient coins, numismatic collection and many other interesting items, preserved in a museum.
Day 04: Mandawa - Bikaner
After visit Mandawa drive to Bikaner . On arrival in Bikaner , transfer to the hotel. Enjoy your lunch and then proceed on a sightseeing tour of Bikaner . Visit to Lalghar Palace , Fort and Deshnoke Temple . Also visit to Junagarh Fort, constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Jai Singh, a general in the Mughal Emperor Akbar's army. Visit to the Karni Mata Temple where rats are worshipped and the Camel Breeding Farm in Bikaner . Night stay in Bikaner .
Day 05: Bikaner - Jaisalmer
In the morning, after breakfast, we travel from Bikaner to Jaisalmer - The Golden City in Rajasthan, by road. The distance of approximately 330 km is covered in around 7 hours. Jaisalmer - the heart of the Great Indian Desert . On arrival in Jaisalmer, transfer to the hotel and relax.
Day 06: Jaisalmer
After a relaxed lunch, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of The Golden City - Jaisalmer. See the Patwon-Ki-Havelies, Salim-Singh-Ki-Haveli and Gandhi Sagar Tank. Also visit Barabagh Hill, evening after camel safari, drive back to Jaisalmer. Stay overnight at Hotel in Jaisalmer.
Day 07: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
In the morning, after breakfast, drive to Jodhpur in Rajasthan, by road. The distance of approximately 300 km is covered in around 5 hours. On arrival in Jodhpur , transfer to the hotel and relax. En-route visit the Ranakpur Temples, which date back to the 15th Century. Its 29 halls are supported by 200 unique pillars. No two pillars are alike. In the evening, visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace and museum. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 08: Jodhpur
In the morning, after breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Jodhpur - gateway of the desert beyond, visit Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, rising up a hilly scarp, evening Village Safari by Jeep. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 09: Jodhpur - Bundi
In the morning drive to Bundi - A dream remembered, on arrival transfer to hotel and relax. Afternoon you will be free to explore the surroundings. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Bundi - Udaipur
An early morning drive to Udaipur in Rajasthan, by road, visiting en-route Ranakpur. The distance of approximately 260 km is covered in around 5 hours. On arrival, check -in at hotel and relax. In the evening you can explore the city of Udaipur , which was ruled by the Sisodia dynasty for over 1200 years. Return to your hotel for dinner and stay overnight.
Day 11: Udaipur
In the morning, after breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Udaipur -one of the most beautiful city of Rajasthan, stopping first at the City Palace - which has several carved balconies, arches and decorated pillars, Zenana Mahal, Fateh Prakash, Durbar Hall and Shambhu Niwas. Also visit Jagdish temple, Sahelion-ki-Bari (queen's resort for the friends). Stay Overnight at Udaipur .
Day 12: Udaipur - Pushkar
An early morning drive to Pushkar in Rajasthan, by road. The distance of approximately 280 km is covered in around 5 hours. En-route visit to Elkingi, Nagda and Nathdawara, on arrival in Pushkar check in at Hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 13: Pushkar - Jaipur
An early morning drive to Jaipur. This city was built by Maharaja Jai Singh. The distance of approximately 130 km is covered in around 3 hours. On arrival in Jaipur, transfer to the hotel and relax. In evening you can go shopping or explore the pink city - Jaipur. Return to your hotel and stay overnight.
Day 14: Jaipur
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Visit to Amber Fort for a day's excursion. Jai Mandir, Sukh Niwas, Sheesh Mahal, Ganesh Pol and Temple of Kali are some of the prominent areas of interest. Elephants are provided to ascend the fort to visit the complex. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 15: Jaipur - Ranthambore
In the morning proceed to visit one of the most beautiful monuments in India-Taj Mahal. The Taj looks stunning in the morning.
Later proceed to Ranthambore National Park. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the capital city of Akbar. The city has some palatial buildings, a mosque and the shrine of saint Salim Chisti. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 16: Ranthambore
Get ready to enjoy a jungle ride in the morning at Ranthambore National Park. You will enjoy the wildlife safari on the open top vehicles. You can see various animals and birds in the park. If you are lucky, you might come across a big cat. Overnight at hotel.
Day 17: Ranthambore - Fathepursikri - Agra
An early morning drive to Agra , visiting en-route Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival in Agra Check in at Hotel, afternoon tour of City. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 18: Agra - Delhi - Departure
In the morning, proceed for a half day sightseeing of this famous city of Taj Mahal . Built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, who died in 1631, this marble mausoleum is situated near the river Yamuna and contains the tombs of both Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. It is regarded as a monument to everlasting love. Later proceed to Delhi upon arrival In the evening farewell dinner at Restaurant followed by Indian folk dances from different States. After that transfer to International Airport to fly onward your Sweet Home. |
