The Agrwal Welfare Society (Regd.) Ashok Vihar, under the partnership of Mr. R.K. Sahgal founded the school on 10th April 1978. It was setup in the memory of the great saint Maharaja Agrasain Who was the founder of socialism democratic set-up as embedded in the ancient civilization. Shri O. P. Gupta was our first manager. The Agrawal Society inspired by high ideals of great saint, undertook several social and charitable activities. Among them imparting of quality education to the children of Ashok Vihar and its surroundings areas was foremost on their agenda. It was through the endeavors of Mr. S. C. Gupta that school got seal of recognition by the education Department of Delhi Administration.

  The main aim of this institution is to serve the weaker section of the society. The school also aims to develop the OVERALL PERSONALITY of the students so that they become honest, sincere, hardworking citizens of the country. A dedicated and committed staff works  to achieve these objectives. The management is very considerate in allowing full facilities to the teachers. In our curriculum, due emphasis is also given to the most important aspect of our day to day activities. The school tries to inculcate the habit of simple living and high thinking among all it's students.

Scholarship and financial assistance is given to the meritorious and deserving students in order to motivate them. The scholarship are awarded every year to deserving students. The staff also given incentives bye the Management from time to time.

The School takes it's social responsibilities seriously. We are committed to the cause of social service and to inculcate the spirit of social awareness among our students. The school is an active member of various social and charitable organizations like interact and Ecoclub and collaborates regularly with lions club. cancer aid society, Red Cross Society of India etc. number of activities are conducted under the aegis of these organizations to integrate work and community service with the syllabus. The school organizes free classes for adults to make the literate.

The fee is moderate in keeping with the simple living and high thinking motto of the Society itself, deserving students are given financial assistance in the form of scholarship.

The School is situated at Ashok Vihar Phase IV. It has a spacious building which is well equipped with Science Labs., Computer Labs., Geography Lab., Library, Auditorium and Audio Visual room. The students have been divided into six houses according to the various activities.
